It was an extraordinary almost perfect two days of weather for the Region 5 Championships, matched, I suspect the very good time everyone had sailing and the Saturday evening get together at the Stiewings house in Sun City, which we appreciate very much. Thanks to the Steiwings, to Al who planned and executed the Regatta and to Barbara for a great lunch on both days. Also Sheila Eades did a great scoring job both days and keeping our big scoreboard, up to date, instantaneously! And to Woody for his help as start and mark judge. And the great help of the skippers, in setting up and take down, both days. It was amazing. We stopped sailing Saturday at 3:oopm per the SI and 20 minutes later, we were all driving away from the site, wow!
