Hi, I am Art Burkette and I would like to propose more Scale meets to augment the Sail Meets. After the great turnout to the Presidents Day meet I think we are getting a broad enough base of modelers that they would enjoy getting together more often. I brought a couple to the event and they were so enthusiastic they have now ordered a scale boat and I am suggesting they join the club if they are so inclined. I also could approach the association board here at Sun Village about having a scale meet on our larger pond if the club is interested. They don't allow row boats on the pond but it is still fun just to get the boats together and "put" or sail around. I would post a picture of the pond for you to see but I'm not sure how you do that on a forum. Anyway, thats my two cents worth for today! Happy sailing, Art
